Spring Mass Transfer Course

Open to All Applications and Industries

Designed for engineers and technical professionals across petrochemical, specialty chemical, refining, gas processing, and environmental industries, this course delivers a comprehensive foundation in mass transfer fundamentals. Participants gain practical insights into equipment selection, tower internals, hydraulic behavior, and troubleshooting. Through hands-on learning and real pilot-plant demonstrations, attendees build confidence in applying these fundamentals to a wide range of process industries.

Fall Mass Transfer Course

Refining-Focused Curriculum

Tailored specifically for professionals in the refining industry, this course focuses on the unique challenges and operating conditions within refinery operations. All classroom scenarios, pilot-plant demonstrations, and case studies are grounded in real-world refining applications. Participants gain hands-on experience with application-specific equipment, refining-focused troubleshooting strategies, and direct access to instructors with deep expertise in refinery mass transfer challenges. The course is designed to strengthen refining knowledge, support more confident equipment decisions, and help drive reliable, high-performance outcomes in the field.                                                                                                                        

The Koch Engineered Solutions Institute℠ is an Authorized Member of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are used internationally to maintain records of completion of organized post-secondary education. To receive a certificate and continuing education units, participants must attend at least 80% of the class, take a pretest, score at least an 80% on the post test, complete a course evaluation form, and complete all prerequisites, if any.

KESI, sponsored by Koch-Glitsch, has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 11130 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 350, Reston, VA 20191. In obtaining this approval, the Koch Engineered Solutions Institute℠ has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standards, which are widely recognized as standards of good practice internationally. As a result of its Authorized Provider membership status, KESI is authorized to offer IACET CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET standards. Koch Engineered Solutions Institute has awarded more than 8,000 CEUs to participants who have successfully completed courses at the Koch Engineered Solutions Institute℠.

Verify our IACET Accredidation

Cancellations received at least 30 calendar days before the start of a class will be 100% refunded. Cancellations less than 30 calendar days before the start of a class will not be refunded. However, students may at their option find their own replacement up to 15 business days prior to the start of the course. Students who fail to show up for a class will not receive a refund. If a student cannot attend their scheduled course, they may transfer their registration to another course of their choosing with no penalty incurred. This transfer must occur 15 business days prior to the start of a course.

We reserve the right to deny admission for any reason permitted by law including, without limitation, the admission of employees of companies that Koch Engineered Solutions deems to be a competitor. All decisions regarding admissions are made without regard to color, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or other legally protected factors. We reserve the right to cancel the registration of a student at our sole discretion. In such event, we will refund the course tuition.

The Hyatt Regency Downtown is the preferred hotel for Wichita courses and a discounted group rate has been arranged. This rate includes a daily breakfast as well as round-trip transportation between the hotel and our training headquarters each morning and evening for those who stay at this hotel. 

We highly recommend that you select the Hyatt Regency during your stay to eliminate a car rental cost for you and also allow you additional networking time with other participants attending the course(s).
