KG-TOWER® software version 5.3

The latest version of KG-TOWER® software provides the ability to specify traditional and high capacity DEMISTER® mist eliminator styles. DEMISTER mist eliminators can be made to any size and shape from a wide range of materials, both metal and non-metal. The high capacity styles take advantage of improved knowledge about the way internal wire geometry affects capacity and performance. This version also adds the specification of PROFLUX® 40X severe service grid and INTALOX® ULTRA X high performance random packing.

Remove all previous versions of KG-TOWER® software from your workstation before installing KG-TOWER® software version 5.3.

NOTE: KG-TOWER® version 5.3 will open files created by all previous versions.

Remove all previous versions of KG-TOWER® software from your workstation before installing KG-TOWER® version 5.3

  1. Navigate to the Control Panel.
    • Windows XP, select Start >> Settings >> Control Panel.
    • Windows 7, select Start >> Control Panel.
    • Windows 10, select Start >> Settings >> System.
  2. Choose option to remove programs:
    • Windows XP, select Add or Remove Programs.
    • Windows 7, select Programs and Features.
    • Windows 10, select Apps & features.
  3. Select KG-TOWER [version #] from the list of programs.
  4. Select Remove (XP) or Uninstall (7 & 10) to display a dialog box to confirm that you want to uninstall KG-TOWER software.
  5. Select Yes.
    • A dialog box displays to show the progress.
    • Depending on the security settings for your computer, you may receive
      a message to confirm you want to make changes to your computer.
      Select Yes.
    • The Add or Remove Programs (XP) or Uninstall or change a
      program       (7) window displays after the software is removed.
  6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 to remove all versions of KG-TOWER® software.
  7. Close the Add or Remove Programs (XP) or Uninstall or change a program (7) window or Apps & features (10).
  8. Close Control Panel (XP) window.
  9. Proceed with download and installation of KG-TOWER® version 5.3.
