Safety
Through the commitment to world-class safety performance by Koch-Glitsch’s management and employees, its sites in Wichita, Kansas and Dallas and Houston, Texas have achieved Star status in the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) for “sustained excellence in all areas of Koch-Glitsch’s safety and health management system.”

In addition, Koch Specialty Plant Services, Inc. (KSPS) is the first specialty contractor in its industry to achieve Star status in OSHA's VPP Mobile Workforce program.

Star status is the highest award in VPP and requires an extensive review of a facility’s performance and management systems. In awarding Star certification to Koch-Glitsch and KSPS, OSHA acknowledged the outstanding effort and dedication of management and employees to all areas of health and safety.

Koch-Glitsch requires the same high level of commitment and performance from all employees and contractors in all of its facilities and sites around the world.

Koch-Glitsch employees continue to pursue excellence in safety by taking personal responsibility, participating in regular training programs, and by disciplined application of the knowledge obtained through training, workplace observations, and sharing of best practices.
