Brine concentrators
Brine concentrators are used in a variety of industries for product recovery and elimination of wastewater for zero discharge plants.

Zero discharge plants
Plants that are designed for minimal or zero water discharge typically have evaporators or concentrators that remove minerals and solids from plant water for recirculation. Typically this process involves alloy mist eliminators installed in vapor bodies of evaporators to ensure high purity water for boiler feed or other applications.

Koch-Glitsch typically recommends:

DEMISTER® mist eliminators to help achieve a purity level of 1 to 50 parts per million (ppm) total dissolved solids (TDS).

FLEXICHEVRO® mist eliminators if brine buildup is excessive.
