The information we request in the boxes below will help us return a design specific to your application. Please provide as much detail as possible.

A. Gas max. design flow rate:
Actual ft³/min (m3/min)
Standard ft³/min (m3/min)
Temperature °F
Elevation in ft. (m)
Atmospheric (Barometric) pressure
B. Maximum differential pressure (across elements) that we can add to the exhaust back pressure. If there is an exhaust fan or blower with a damper on the exhaust line or a recycle line the max pressure drop allowed can be estimated by noting the reservoir static pressure at normal operating conditions (usually a negative value in inches of water column) then noting it again with the damper fully open or the recycle line closed. The difference in the two static pressures (with a factor of safety applied) is the max additional pressure drop allowed.

Max pressure drop allowed in. W.C.
C. Maximum reservoir static pressure in. W.C.
D. Max. gas temperature (of gas at the mist eliminator or exhaust, in °F)
E. Gas density at the operating conditions (or we will use atmospheric air density at temperature and altitude given above) in lb/ft³ (kg/m3)
F. Exhaust vent size (Pipe size and schedule so that we can include matching 150 lb. ANSI flange mating dimensions on the inlet and exhaust nozzles of the mist eliminator)
Pipe Schedule
Flange Rating
G. Estimate of amount of liquid mist in the vapor (Amount of make-up oil is one way of estimating).
Amount of make-up oil, lb/day
Amount of make-up oil, gal/day
Liquid density at operating conditions in lb/ft³ (kg/m3)
